Overclocking is the procedure by forcing a computer component to run at a higher clock range than it was configured for or was designated by the maker, usually used by personal computer (PC) enthusiasts in order to gain the performance of their computers.
More of them buy low-end computer component part which they then overclock to higher speeds, or overclock high-end components to achieve levels of functioning beyond the default factory settings. Others overclock outdated components to keep pace with new system requirements, rather than purchasing new hardware products as expected by the computer industry.
